She dances in the moonlight,
Imagining he is dancing with her.
Fluid motions, matching the tide's ebb and flow,
Stars shine like glitter in the midnight sky.
Warm ocean breezes envelope her,
Caressing her soft skin.
In her mind's eye, she sees his warm loving gaze,
She feels his strong embrace.
A tear falls down her cheek, as she wonders where he is.
Then a soft touch caresses her shoulder,
And he is there beside her.
He sweeps her up in his arms,
And gently kisses her waiting lips.
The stars seem to twinkle brighter,
The seagulls singing in the warm night air,
As the happy pair glide on the s ,
Bringing her lonely dance of love,
To a blissful and romantic end.
